Dr. Carrico launched the International Travel Clinic in the Division of Infectious Diseases at the University of Louisville School of Medicine and led its growth and development into the only full service travel clinic in Kentucky able to address the full spectrum of pre-travel counseling, in-travel needs, TravelHealth101 are reflective of the experiences, expertise and partnerships vital as we address the return of international travel post-pandemic. Julio A Ramirez MD is a nationally and internationally recognized expert in the field of infectious diseases. After serving as the Chief of the Division of Infectious Diseases at the University of Louisville School of Medicine, he moved to Norton Healthcare to expand the operations of the Norton Infectious Diseases Institute as the Chief Scientific Officer. Dr. Ramirez also serves as the Chief Executive Office for the International Respiratory Infections Society, a non-profit organization focused on education worldwide.
